PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management device and an information retrieval device for securing sufficient security, and for improving convenience. SOLUTION: This information management device is provided with a file information acquisition means S1 for acquiring file information, a biometrics information acquisition means S4 for acquiring the information of a face as biometrics information and a control means S8 for making a storage means store the biometrics information and the file information by associating them with each other. This information management device is provided with a file retrieval means for retrieving the file information stored so as to be associated with the inputted biometrics information in the storage means.
