PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eliminator for eliminating looseness in the axial direction between a shaft and a casing without applying an excessive preload to bearings. SOLUTION: This rotating apparatus 1 includes a shaft 2 and a casing 3 rotatably supported on the shaft 2. The casing 3 is composed of the pair of casings 3A, 3B splitable in the axial direction of the shaft 2. The shaft 2 is fixed externally in the axial direction of the split casing 3B through the bearings 33 fixed on the split casing 3B and is fixed externally in the axial direction of the split casing 3A through the bearings 34 elastically movable in the axial direction with a corrugated washer 43 included in the split casing 3A.
