PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component that is easy to manufacture which stabilizes the inductance value, even after mounting it on a circuit board. SOLUTION: The coil component 1 has a drum core 3, packaging cores 11, 13 and metal terminals 23, 31. The drum core 3 is adhered to the packaging cores 11, 13 only between the side face of a lower flange 9 and the inner side faces 11D, 13D of the packaging cores 11, 13. Packaging core fixtures 17, 18, 25, 26 of the metal terminals 23, 31 are adhered to the corresponding outer side faces of the packaging cores 11, 13. A part of the lower end faces 11F, 13F of the packaging cores 11, 13 is adhered to board mounting parts 19, 27 of the metal terminals 23, 31, thereby reducing the gap variation between the packaging cores 11, 13 and the drum core 3 and making the inductance value stabilized.
