PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foil resistor where buffer coat liquid efficiently flows in almost whole faces of a connection terminal and a foil resistor, the whole faces are buffer-coated, heat influence of exterior molding is prevented, and movement of the foil resistor and a terminal at the time of exterior molding can securely be inhibited. SOLUTION: The foil resistor is formed of the foil resistor where at least two or above terminal bonding parts are formed in parts near the terminal on an upper face of an insulating substrate, at least two or above terminals which are arranged at the lower face of the foil resistor and in which connection terminals projecting to two or above terminal bonding parts in an inverted L shape are fixed, buffer coat which drops from the upper part of the foil resistor and covers the foil resistor and the two or above connection terminals and an exterior mould covering an outer periphery of buffer coat and a part except for outer ends of the two or above terminals.
