PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor execution, an execution status, and an execution history of a job at low cost by central control of execution of a large amount of jobs in a distributed network environment. SOLUTION: The job execution monitoring system comprises a job control device 1, at least one or more job execution devices connected to the job control device 1, and a job monitoring terminal 3. The job control device 1 selects a predetermined job network 51 held by itself, extracts the job 52 from the job network 51, and transmits the job 52 to the job execution device 2. The job execution device 2 executes the job 52 received from the job control device 1, and transmits an event 53 presenting a state of the execution status of the job 52 to the job control device 1. The job monitoring terminal 3 issues an event request signal and acquires the event 53 from the job control device 1, and outputs the execution status of the job network 51 on the basis of the event 53 to a display screen 34 or the like.
