PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device having efficient refrigerant recovery operation even when using a plurality of heat absorbing means for functioning in different temperature zones, and to provide a refrigerator with the refrigerating device. SOLUTION: The refrigerating device 30 comprises a compressor 1, a radiator 2, an expansion valve 3, a gas-liquid separator 4, a first heat absorbing means 10 into which liquid refrigerant going out of the gas-liquid separator 4 is distributed, and a second heat absorbing means 11. After refrigerating operation is finished, in the state that the distribution of the refrigerant to the first heat absorbing means 10 is stopped, the distribution of the refrigerant to the second heat absorbing means 11 is stopped and the compressor 1 is operated for refrigerant recovery operation to recover the refrigerant stored in a heat absorber 58 and feed and reserve it into the gas-liquid separator 4.
