PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber cord for rubber reinforcement, which is bonded to a rubber layer by treatment of formalin-free adhesive, does not cause a waste in sending and has a low coefficient of friction. SOLUTION: The adhesive treatment method for a fiber cord for rubber reinforcement comprises an adhesive treatment process for coating a fiber cord 21 with an adhesive solution 51 having 0.5-4% by mass triazinethiol concentration, 0.5-4% by mass diene-based rubber concentration and 1-5 wt.% total concentration of triazinethiol and diene-based rubber, a drying process for drying the fiber cord 21 and a cord sending process for sending the dried fiber cord 21 through a yarn guide apparatus 5 to the following process.
