摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight Al based alloy having high thermal resistance and elongation properties at about 200 to 300°C, and having excellent workability upon hot working. SOLUTION: The Al based alloy has a composition comprising 5 to 10% Mn, 0.5 to 5% V, 0.5 to 5% Cr, 0.5 to 5% Fe, 1 to 8% Si,≤5% (excluding zero) Cu,≤3% (excluding zero) Mg and 0.5 to 5% Ni; wherein, the total of these seven kinds of elements other than Ni is 12 to 28%, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. The structure of the Al based alloy is composed of an intermetallic compound phase of 35 to 80% by volume fraction, and the balance metal Al matrix, and the intermetallic compound phase is composed of three or more kinds selected from Al-Mn-Si series, Al-Mg-Cr series, Al-Cr-Cu-Fe series and Al-V series.
