PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chopping board easy-to-use, hygienically usable on both surfaces and also usable even at places other than on a kitchen table. SOLUTION: The chopping board is composed of a container 14 having an opening 15 at its upper surface and an appropriate depth, and a chopping board body 12 detachably attached to the container 14 to close the opening 15. The container 14 comprises a stepped portion 22 at the periphery of the opening 15 to be in contact with the lower side of periphery of the chopping board body 12 and hold it.
