The package has boiled sausage products (4) inserted in a lower shell, where the package is designed as a tube-shaped box formed from an upper foil (2) and a lower foil (3) at outer longitudinal sides. The package is designed with tearing aids (5) in transverse and longitudinal direction and is made of plastic e.g. polypropylene, where the products are heated in a hot-air stove with temperatures up to 150 degree Celsius.
