<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image measuring device that can measure an image of dimension or the like and provides portability. <P>SOLUTION: The portable image measuring device comprises an imaging section 110, a display section 125, a signal processing control unit 120, an image taking-in starting element, and a user interface. The user interface may have a video measuring tool that can be adjusted by a user and constituted in response to an image in the display section, a video tool adjusting element, and a measuring function to be operated in order to provide a dimension measuring result based on the constitution of the video measuring tool. The portable image measuring device can measure not only a typical part generally measured by a conventional portable tool such as a caliper or micrometer, but also a minimum or flat part that is difficult to be measured with the conventional tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
