<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect automatically a source position which rearranges characters, by which the user does not need to specify, and arrange characters easily in the source position where a capability that the user's desire is high. <P>SOLUTION: This method is for compounding a first document image containing a background image, and a second document image containing characters and executes performs processing (#11) which extracts characters region included in the first document image, processing (#12) which deletes characters from the first document image and creates the background document image, processing (#13) which establishes a region comprising characters region of the first document image as a relocation region, and processing (#14) which rearranges characters contained in the second document image at a source position to the relocation region on the background document image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
