<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents an abnormal current from being generated again in the case where the abnormal current is generated. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises an engine part which forms images, a driving power supply which generates a driving voltage to be supplied to the engine part, an FET which is set between the engine part and the driving power supply and switches whether or not to supply the driving voltage to the engine part, an FET control part which controls whether to turn on or off the FET according to a variation of the driving voltage, and a flag control part which generates a flag when the FET control part turns on the FET. If the driving voltage varies when the flag control part generates the flag and the FET control part turns on the FET, the FET control part turns off the FET in a state with the flag generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
