PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle support technique capable of utilizing effectively an AHS. SOLUTION: A vehicle support device 10 is provided with a storage part 120 for storing AHS facility information Iah about an on-road facility, while correlated with road map information Irm indicating a road map, a communication environment setting part 114 for setting a communication environment for communication with the on-road facility, based on the AHS facility information Iah, and a route search part 111 for searching a route for a vehicle 800 to travel thereon, with priority as to the road installed with the on-road facility, based on the AHS facility information Iah.
