PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development support device of a PLC allowing support software to be efficiently debugged and maintained by saving setting work of a user in starting the support software and capable of simply implementing uniform management of data. SOLUTION: This development support device of a PLC comprises a program execution control means for retaining communication setting information inputted from an input means while one unit-dedicated program is being executed by a program execution means, and used for controlling, when another unit-dedicated program is executed, execution of the program such that the retained communication setting information is used for the execution of the other dedicated program.
