PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency vehicle travel support system that prevents general vehicles from encountering an emergency vehicle without notifying the general vehicles of the destination of the emergency vehicle. SOLUTION: The emergency vehicle travel support system comprises a center apparatus 1 for sending travel route information representing a planned travel route of an emergency vehicle 4 and also local route information excluding at least the destination of the planned travel route from the travel route information, and a beacon 2 for sending information to on-vehicle devices 5 and 6 installed on a general vehicle 3 and the emergency vehicle 4 respectively. The beacon 2 identifies whether or not the vehicles with the on-vehicle devices 5 and 6 are the emergency vehicle 4; and if identifying the emergency vehicle 4, sends the travel route information to the on-vehicle device 6, and if not identifying the emergency vehicle 4, sends the local route information to the on-vehicle device 5.
