PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image transmitting method efficiently using a transmission path of image data. SOLUTION: An image control part 122 and a selector 124 are connected by transmission paths provided to correspond to image data of each color, respectively. The image control part 122 takes in the image data constituted by image data of each color, and divides image data of required colors into pixel units. Further, the image control part 122 transmits multiple image data of the required colors which have been divided into the pixel units by periodically assigning them in a transmission path for image data of the required color, and in an unused transmission path for image data of other colors.
