PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming a high-quality image with high reliability by preventing an electrifying roller member from sliding against a carrier member so that the electrifying roller member may accurately rotate integrally with the carrier member. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus where the body part 31 of an electrifying roller 13 is rotated in press-contact with a photoreceptor drum 12 so as to uniformly electrify the surface of the photoreceptor drum 12, grip members 32 rotating in press-contact with the outside of the image forming area S of the photoreceptor drum at both ends of the body part 31 of the electrifying roller are fixed so that they may coaxially and integrally rotate with the body part by making a rotary shaft 33 common to the body part.
