PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration restraining device capable of surely restraining the transmission of vibration to a vibration control object 40, when inputting the vibration of a low frequency from a vibration input member 30, when placing the vibration control object 40 on the vibration input member 30. SOLUTION: This vibration restraining device has a piezoelectric actuator 10 and a shunt circuit 20. The piezoelectric actuator 10 has a rubber member 12 having a first surface installed on the vibration control object 40 and a second surface installed on the vibration input member 30 being the opposite surface side of the first surface, an elastic plate 13 being the inside of the rubber member 12, arranged in substantially parallel to the first surface of the rubber member 12 and deformable by elastic bending, and a piezoelectric element 14 superposed on and fixed to the elastic plate 13 and deformable in the flat direction of the elastic plate 13.
