PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material laying method capable of laying floor materials with satisfactory appearance. SOLUTION: Floor materials 10 are laid in such a way that corner parts K of laterally adjacent floor materials 10a and 10b may be matched with each other and that corner parts K of vertically adjacent floor materials 10a, 10c, and 10d may be displaced from each other. Since curved corner parts K of the floor materials 10 are therefore prevented from being concentrated at one location as before, gaps between adjacent parts of the floor materials 10 are not conspicuous, and it is possible to lay the floor materials 10 with satisfactory appearance.
