PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for partially inserting weft yarns solving problems such as hard to industrialize, requires time and effort or causing loss of threads, or a limit exists for applicable kind of looms, and not requiring an exclusive loom, partially inserting weft yarns by adding to a currently possessed loom. SOLUTION: An inserting plate 1c which guides weft yarn 86 to be inserted by a yarn guide 1d on the tip, is rotated by an inserting driver 1a and inserted into a shed K during opening of the warp 81 (B). A positioning needle 2a with sharp tip is inserted into the warp 81 by a selvage controlling device 2 and the weft 86 is inserted between warp yarn 81 by the reverse rotation of the inserting plate 1c. The fabric with partially inserted weft yarn 86 is obtained by beating while evacuating the inserting plate 1c, inserting driver 1a and the selvage controlling device 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
