PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating method and electrodeposition coating system by which the occurrence of the trace of electrodeposition sag is prevented and a hard electrodeposition coating film having excellent coating film appearance can be obtained. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition coating method includes an electrodeposition coating film forming process for forming the electrodeposition coating film on the surface of object to be coated; a primary washing process of washing a resultant coating object; a secondary washing process of washing the coating object washed by the first washing process by using washing water; and a final washing process of washing the coating object washed by the secondary washing process.
