PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof rubber composition having dynamic characteristics improved by the reduction of dynamic-to-static modulus ratio, and also having excellent vibration-inhibiting properties. SOLUTION: The vibration-proof rubber composition contains the following components (A) to (C): (A) a diene rubber; (B) a carbon black having characteristics of (b1) having a specific surface area (N<SB>2</SB>SA) measured by nitrogen adsorption and regulated so as to satisfy the relation of 100 m<SP>2</SP>/g≤N<SB>2</SB>SA≤210 m<SP>2</SP>/g, and (b2) having a DBP oil absorption (DBP) satisfying the relation of 40 cm<SP>3</SP>/100 g≤DBP≤90 cm<SP>3</SP>/100 g; and (C) a vulcanizing agent. The relaxation time (T2L) after the vulcanization of the vibration-proof rubber composition, measured by a solid-echo method of a pulse-method nuclear electromagnetic resonance analysis (NMR) is regulated so as to be≤350μs.
