PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner capable of reducing the number of parts with a simple structure and improving cooling performance and coefficient of performance without increasing a saturated vapor pressure of refrigerant. SOLUTION: An insertion portion is provided to insert a pipe 21 for hot refrigerant led to an expansion valve 4 from a radiator 2 into a casing 24 of an accumulator 22, and the hot refrigerant passing through the insertion portion 23 is heat exchanged with at least a refrigerant A of liquid phase in a casing 24. This cools the hot refrigerant supplied to the expansion valve 4 from the radiator 2 and heats low-temperature refrigerant returned to a compressor 1 from an evaporator 5. Moreover, an accumulator 22 is used in place of a low-temperature portion of a conventional internal heat exchanger. Accordingly, the internal heat exchanger is not required to be attached.
