<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genuineness discriminating medium that is applied to valuables requiring counterfeit prevention and alteration prevention of a bank note, passport, securities, card, merchandise tag, stamp or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the genuineness discriminating medium, a first area, a second area and a third area are provided in a non-conductive base, the first area, the second area and the third area have lengths that resonate when measured by a microwave sensor, the first area, the second area and third area have different surface roughness, and on the first area, the second area and third area, a conductive layers are formed by the same conductive material, wherein the conductive layer on the first area, the conductive layer on the second area and the conductive layer on the third layer have different values of resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
