<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a flexible confidential editing process according to the contents of a document. <P>SOLUTION: After a natural language process is applied to a sentence which is the object of the confidential editing process in an editing process part 14, editing target candidates included in the document is extracted by referring to a table T stored in a memory part. Then, a control part 10 displays the document with the extracted editing target candidates with an enhancement process applied thereto on a display part 13, and displays the editing target candidates in a list. A user looks at the display part 13 and designates a desired editing target. Then, the control part 10 displays a list of the editing method candidates corresponding to the designated editing candidate by referring to the table T. When the user designates a desired editing method, the editing target and the editing method is confirmed, and in the editing process part 14, the editing process according to the designated editing method for the designated editing target is performed.
