<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which is simple in configuration and capable of meeting safety standards, and to provide an electronic apparatus and a recording device both quipped with the transformer. <P>SOLUTION: The transformer 60 is equipped with a bobbin 64, a pair of cores 61, a pair of core covers 62 fixed to the bobbin 64, and a coil 63 wound on the bobbin 64. The transformer 60 is mounted on a board 162 to transform a voltage from one to the other through a primary side and a secondary side. The core covers 62 are provided to shield the primary side face and/or secondary side face of the core 61. By this setup, the core side faces are covered, but all the cores 61 are not covered, so that heat released from the transformer 60 can be dissipated outside, and furthermore a space between the core side and an electronic part close to the core side can be set as long as prescribed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
