PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging cradle of portable electronic apparatus in which the holding state of a hold switch is released automatically upon setting the portable electronic apparatus in the charging cradle. SOLUTION: The charging cradle 2 for charging the battery of a portable electronic apparatus 1 by setting the portable electronic apparatus 1 therein comprises an operator 2a for operating a hold switch 1b through which the operating section of the portable electronic apparatus is brought into the holding state.
