PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a program by program sorting corresponding to the preference of a user. SOLUTION: A program register has a sorting table 17 storing the occurrence-frequency information of a plurality of kinds of key words specified by the user to each of a plurality of the program sortings specified by the user and a sorting-information storage section 19 storing the discriminating informations of a plurality of programs at a plurality of every program sorting. The program register further has a retrieval section 11 acquiring a program guide text 31 from the official site 6 of the programs connected through a network and a key-word extracting section 13 extracting a plurality of kinds of the key words from the program guide text 31. The program register further has a sorting processing section 15 sorting the programs related to the program guide text 31 into one of a plurality of the program sortings on the basis of the sorting table 17 and storing the programs related to the text 31 in the sorting-information storage section 19.
