PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive black paste for one lot calcination and a manufacturing method of a PDP front substrate using it wherein without any problem of generation of bubbles, floating, or twist in a dielectric layer, it is possible to form an electrode and/or a black matrix layer and the dielectric layer on the PDP front face substrate by one lot calcination. SOLUTION: This is the photosensitive paste which is formed in the lower layer of the dielectric layer and which constitutes a black layer given to the one lot calcination with the dielectric layer, and the photosensitive black paste for the one lot calcination which contains a black inorganic pigment, an alkaline soluble resin, a photopolymerizable monomer and/or oligomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, and which does not contain glass powders.
