PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable having excellent flexibility and bending ability, which solves the problem that the former flat cable with a sheath is too hard to be bent in a small part, and when the cable is bent, a thermal fusion part is angularly bent as it is hard, so that this part goes out of the surface of the cable to cause deterioration of appearance. SOLUTION: Firstly, a flat cable 1 is formed by making the angle of a non-separated part not less than 30°C, and making the size of the non-separated part not less than 5 mm and not more than 30 mm. Secondly, the flat cable with a flexible sheath is formed by rounding, bundling or compacting the first flat cable and providing a sheath therearound. By this structure, when the cable is bent, the separated part of the flat cable is wide, the non-separated part is slanting and the size of the non-separated part is narrow, so that the flat cable is flexible and bent easily. Further, since the non-separated part is slanting and the size of the non-separated part is narrow, the non-separated part is not conspicuous on the surface of the sheath, thereby making the appearance better.
