PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk aligning apparatus, in which the accuracy of aligning of a recording disk and a rotary shaft is improved and which is inexpensive, and to provide a brushless motor that uses the recording disk aligning apparatus. SOLUTION: The recording disk aligning apparatus 1, arranged at the same axis with the center of the recording disk, is constituted of a case part 10 having an aligning claw 12a for aligning the center of the recording disk and the axis of the recording disk aligning apparatus 1, an elastic ring 20, and a holding member 30. A projection part 22 of the elastic ring 20 and the holding member 30 are coupled, while having a gap 41 in the radial direction, and an annular part 21 of the elastic ring 20 is housed in the case part 10, while making it contract to the inside.
