PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information collection system capable of attaining establishment of a facility at low cost. SOLUTION: This system comprises a position information assignment communication device 2 set in a predetermined moving path and transmitting preliminarily stored own position information by radio communication; a mobile communication device 3 receiving and storing position information transmitted from the communication device 2 during movement in the predetermined moving path, and transmitting the stored position information to the outside by radio communication; and an information collection communication device 1 set in the predetermined moving path and collecting position information transmitted from the mobile communication device moving in the moving path by radio communication.
