PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue stable operation of a system by carrying out limitation such that a process does not excessively consume a region, and preventing spreading to other processes. SOLUTION: In the information device having a file system 6, a file consumption of a process generated by execution of an application program is determined including an amount of a user definition and an amount consumed by a library function, and when the file consumption of the process 2 exceeds a set amount, the process 2 and processes relevant to the process are terminated.
