摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly optimize HC emission quantity and combustion stability at cold start. SOLUTION: A fuel injection control device for an engine provided with an injector for cylinder injection and an injector for intake air passage injection is provided with an injection mode change over means performing compression stroke cylinder injection by the injector for cylinder injection before predetermined period of time elapses from predetermined timing right before engine cold start (No in step S102), and intake air passage injection by the injector for intake air passage injection and suction stroke cylinder injection and compression stroke cylinder injection by the injector for cylinder injection is performed after the predetermined time elapses (Yes in step 102). Consequently, benefit of securing combustion stability by compression stroke cylinder injection can be obtained before the predetermined time elapses, benefit of reducing HC emission by catalyst warming up promotion can be obtained after the predetermined time has elapsed, and optimization HC emission and combustion stability are compatively established at a time of cold start.
