PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device capable of attaining washing to obtain sufficient washing power and washing feelings by washing a wide washing region with a small quantity of water and attaining resources saving and energy saving. SOLUTION: The washing device 3 discharges wash water from a discharge port 2 of a nozzle 1 to wash an object. The discharge port 2 is formed in laterally long slit shape, and a reciprocating means 4 is provided for reciprocating the nozzle 1 in a longitudinal direction when discharging the wash water from the slit-like discharge port 2 to wash the object.
