PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose an inner layer of a sintered body of a charcoal and zeolite layer enclosed in zeolite, and an outer layer of a zeolite layer with vaporized charcoal by mixing and sintering zeolite, charcoal and slaked lime; to prevent flow-out of charcoal due to drainage passing through the sintered body; and to enhance and maintain adsorbability by cooperation of zeolite and charcoal in the inner layer. SOLUTION: Fine powders of zeolite, charcoal and slaked lime are mixed, hydrated and sintered into spherical bodies to form a zeolite layer, leaving binding of zeolite with charcoal in the inner layer and forming fine holes by combustion vaporization of charcoal in the outer layer.
