The measure has several bars which fold among themselves. Each bar lies flat opposite each other in a closed position, and is graded (15, 16). A free end (1B, 9B) of the bar has an end element perpendicularly arranged to the longitudinal axis (A) of the bar and located at the zero point of a linear measurement where grading on the side of the bar is provided. The end element (40) is adjustable along the longitudinal axis (W) of the final bar of the linear measurement staff. The bars consist of non-metallic material.
