The connecting profile (1) has a base profile (2) fixable on the window component (11) adjoining the plaster, and an external profile (3) which has a plastering arm and can be fixed movable by the base profile. The external profile is made from a flexible material and prior to fixing is provided rolled up on the base profile. The external profile has a fixing arm (5) which after the base profile is fixed on the window component can be pushed in between the component and a resilient retaining web (6) formed on the base profile. The base profile and external profile preferably have a flat cross section where the height of each of the profiles is a maximum of half the width.
