PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of catalytic smell even in change in operation mode in a hybrid vehicle.

SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program including: a step S104 for resetting an engine warm-up request flag for executing fuel cut for the catalytic smell suppression countermeasure, when a catalytic smell suppression countermeasure is necessary and warming-up of the engine is requested (YES in S100 and YES in S102); a step S108 for executing the fuel cut and determining whether or not the catalytic smell suppression countermeasure is completed; and a step S110 for setting the engine warm-up request flag when the catalytic smell suppression countermeasure is completed (YES in S108).
