<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an optical disk which can further raise copy guard capability compared with the conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises, a step for applying marking to a reflective layer of the optical disk having at least a transparent substrate and a reflective layer (819a); a step for detecting a position for the marking (819b), and a step (819d) for outputting the detected position as the position information for the marking, encrypting the information regarding the position information and writing it in the optical disk.
