<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved HA tag having a high detection ability, and to provide a method for screening an objective protein with the improved HA tag. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is fundamentally based on a knowledge that an objective protein can be more effectively detected than by conventional methods, when an improved HA tag having an amino acid sequence containing an amino acid sequence obtained by repeating the amino acid sequence (YPYDVPDYA) of HA tag represented by a specific sequence three times, or the like is used.
