<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device of a discharge lamp capable of removing completely color unevenness in a color scanner or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device comprises a DC power supply, a chopper circuit which is connected to this DC power supply and steps up the voltage, a transformer of which a center point of the primary side coil and one end of the secondary coil are connected to this chopper circuit, a pair of switching elements of which respective output terminal is connected to both ends of the primary coil of this transformer, a control means to push-pull control this pair of switching elements, and an input control means which is triggered by a pulse of a prescribed period inputted from the outside and stops the pair of switching elements for a period of prescribed pulse width only. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
