摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical means for immobilizing nucleic acid capable of measuring a gene with high sensitivity and high precision and capable of realizing a low-cost system, and a gene detecting device using it. <P>SOLUTION: A tripod type functional interfacial molecule, wherein an atom group containing a thiol group is bonded and arranged to three bonding arms of a carbon atom and an atom group containing an oligonucleotide bondable group is bonded and arranged to the other one arm of the carbon atom, is oriented on a substrate to bond and immobilize nucleic acid to the oligonucleotide bondable group to make it possible to perform hybridization efficiently. In the gene detecting device, a single stranded nucleic acid probe is fixed to the side surface of the metal electrode formed in the vicinity of a channel part and hybridization is performed on the surface of the metal electrode to form double stranded DNA and a molecular biological process such as laterally extending reaction or the like is performed to detect an electrical signal accompanied by a change in the carrier density on the surface of a semiconductor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
