PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrooptic device by which more of a plurality of electrooptic devices are extracted from a mother board and having excellent mass productivity, the electrooptic device and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electrooptic device equipped with a sealing agent 52 formed around an electrooptic substance is characterized in that in a drawing process, the sealing agent 52 is drawn on any one of a pair of base material substrates 110 by predetermined drawing patterns 52a, 52b, in a sticking process, a joint substrate obtained by sticking the pair of base material substrates via the sealing agent 52 is formed and in a division process, the pair of base material substrates are divided by bisecting the sealing agent 52 in the direction that the sealing agent 52 is extended at least one side of the drawing patterns and the bisected sealing agent 52 forms one side of a filling area 111.
