PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box file which has good usability while surely preventing damage to a stored article. SOLUTION: This box file is tubularly composed of a front plate 2, a rear plate 4 and right and left side plates 3 and 5; locking pieces 2b-5b, which are each provided at the lower edges of front plate 2, the rear plate and the right and left side plates 3 and 5, are bent inward and engaged with each other, so as to form a bottom part 9; a plate-like internally-laid piece 6 is arranged inside; notches 24 and 25 are formed in a plurality of places where both the front and back sides of the locking pieces 3b and 5b are exposed in the formed state of the bottom part 9, respectively; and both ends 7 and 8 of the piece 6 are inserted into the respective cut parts 24 and 25, respectively.
