PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste stirrer being substantially effective in stirring efficiency and quality stabilization of paste by scraping off a boundary film of paste adhered to an inner wall in a cylindrical container to improve heat transfer efficiency, and by reducing variation in temperature, and a production method of paste. SOLUTION: The paste stirrer comprises (A) a container provided with a jacket capable of controlling a temperature by circulating a cooling or heating medium, (B) two stirring blades capable of performing a planetary movement, and (C) a scraper rotating in the vicinity of the inner wall in the cylindrical container, and the production method of paste using the paste stirrer is also disclosed.
