PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall hanger, facilitating work for fitting to a wall surface, and displaying a comparatively weighty ornament on the wall surface without impairing the appearance of the interior and wall surface. SOLUTION: This wall hanger includes: a plate body 11 provided with a number of fitting holes 13 and fitted and fixed to the wall surface 1 by fitting screws 5 inserted in the fitting holes 13; and a covering plate 12 removably locked on the front of the plate body 11 by a locking means to cover the respective fitting holes 13, wherein with the covering plate 12 locked on the front of the plate body 11, a groove part 17 where a string 4 is wrapped is formed at least on the upper part between the plate body 11 and the covering plate 12.
