PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed device for easily moving a top plate with one system mechanism, and to provide an MRI apparatus. SOLUTION: The bed device comprises: the top plate 5 where a subject is placed; a middle frame 6 which is arranged at the lower side of the top plate 5 and supports the top plate 5; a bed supporting part 12 which is arranged at the lower side of the middle frame 6 and supports the middle frame 6; and a horizontal movement mechanism part 4 for horizontally moving the top plate 5 and the middle frame 6. The top plate 5 and the middle frame 6 are moved in a longitudinal direction by the horizontal movement mechanism part 4 and only the top plate 5 is movable in a width direction.
