PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and low cost inorganic composition easily handled and exhibiting superior antibacterial, anti-fungal and deodorant performances. SOLUTION: This inorganic composition is mainly composed of amorphous silica derived from calcium carbonate and calcium silicate, and has a microporous distribution having one or more peaks in a small diameter side and a large diameter side of an average micropore diameter respectively; and the amorphous silica carries antibacterial, anti-fungal and deodorant metal ions. This inorganic compound is produced by contacting the antibacterial, anti-fungal and deodorant metal ions with material powder mainly composed of calcium silicate to substitute the antibacterial, anti-fugal and deodorant metal ions for calcium ions, and curing (carbonation processing) them under a carbon dioxide atmosphere. This inorganic composition can improve antibacterial, anti-fugal and deodorant performances by synergic effects of the improvement of responsiveness by macropores and increase in absorption area by micropores.
